Information: Time: Between 14h00 – 16h00! Onike, born on December 4, 1996, in Groblersdal, Limpopo, is a singer-songwriter known for
her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Growing up in a very small town, Onike always thought
that her dreams were too big. She began singing in her church at a young age, where her
passion for music took root.
After moving to Pretoria to pursue her dreams, Onike started knocking on doors and
performed at various venues and festivals in Pretoria which showcased her unique blend of
folk, pop and country-rock. She has been part of multiple showcases as well as performing
ever since 2017. She was 15 years old when she was chosen as the first South African Teen
Singer at a SHINE event, hosted in Orlando Florida, USA.
Onike has been in the industry, professionally, for the last 8 years and has her first single,
releasing February 2025. She sees herself as an advocate for mental health awareness and
frequently uses her platform to support charitable causes.
With her ongoing commitment to authenticity and artistry, Onike continues to captivate
audiences and looks up to everyone who shares talent with the world.
